Important Note: Family & Children’s Agency is not currently accepting new applications for our South Korea adoption program.
Families interested in international adoption can work with Family & Children’s Agency to complete their home study and post-placement and benefit from the wealth of knowledge and breadth of support services the organization offers. We work with families in Connecticut and within a reasonable driving distance of our Harrison, NY office. Our program holds an active Hague Accreditation through the Council on Accreditation since 2008.
Although FCA does not offer international placements, our decades of work in this field mean we can provide recommendations for Agencies with programs in the country from which you hope to adopt. By working with FCA for your home study and post-placement services, you’ll benefit from trainings, events, community-building opportunities, play groups, celebrations, support groups, and more. As a part of a larger human services organization, our programs have the unique advantage of access to comprehensive resources, programs, and support for families both during and after the adoption process.
Families who have adopted from an international adoption program at FCA are welcome to contact us via the form below with questions regarding their file or to pursue biological family information.
Hague Accreditation information: Upon request, we can provide service policy contracts, the number of placements per year for the prior 3 calendar years, the number of placements that remain intact, the number of families who apply to adopt each year, and the number of waiting children eligible for adoption. You may request this information from any Hague-accredited agency as stipulated by the Hague Convention.
