The Biggest Treasure Hunt in Town

Minks to Sinks had its first rummage sale organized by volunteers in Wilton in 1931 to benefit the Nursing Association's Well Child Program.

A women-run organization with more than 80 years of history, Minks to Sinks brings donations and deals to the Wilton area twice each year. All proceeds of these epic tag sales benefit Family & Children's Agency.

Hundreds of thousands of items are donated each year, and it is the nearly 200 dedicated volunteers who make the sale possible.

Donations & Consignments
  • All donations made to Minks to Sinks are tax-deductible.
  • For a list of donation and consignment guidelines, including information about what we can and cannot accept, click here.
  • To consign, bring your items to the tents and sign up on the consigning board. We do not take appointments. For Wilton residents only, Minks to Sinks offers item pick up ($80 fee) for donations or consignments and in-home consigning. Please email Minks2Sinks@gmail.com before September 23 to arrange.
  • Consignors receive 50% of the ticket price for any item sold on Saturday of the sale. Items sold Sunday and Monday are sold at half of the ticketed price and all proceeds go to Minks to Sinks. Minimum consignment price is $10.
Volunteer

When you join Minks to Sinks you'll be entering an organization of local women with a passion for giving back. You'll make great friends and develop relationships in Wilton. In addition, you'll be helping the community:

  • Minks to Sinks has a positive impact on the community and the environment by providing a way to donate items, reducing landfill waste and encouraging reuse.
  • All proceeds from Minks to Sinks support Family & Children's Agency, a non-profit human services organization based in Norwalk which serves all of Fairfield County. Their programs for children, families, adults, and seniors help more than 13,000 people each year.
  • In addition to supporting FCA financially, Minks to Sinks helps the clients of several nonprofit organizations. Each sale, we invite our neighbors in need to join us to shop for free, helping them obtain much needed items and broadening the positive impact of the sale.
