Jonathan started ASPIRE in 7th grade, where he found extra academic help and broadened his horizons with electives. His favorite, he said, was cooking.
“ASPIRE was there to help when I forgot some of my lessons from school. Extra academic help is a benefit,” he said.
ASPIRE also helped by providing opportunities for college tours and help with applications. Now, having been taking college courses through high school, he’s excited to study Architecture at Norwalk Community College. He plans to use his education to join his family’s business.
“ASPIRE staff goes out of their way to help people in need,” he said.
