ASPIRE After-School Program Relocates

Oct 22, 2017 | ASPIRE

Family & Children’s Agency (FCA) recently moved the middle school component of its ASPIRE after-school program to the former Ben Franklin school in Norwalk. The middle school component was previously located on the campus of Norwalk Community College (NCC). “This new location will allow for enhanced programming and additional volunteer for our students,” said Robert Cashel FCA’s President & CEO.

The recent move allows students to be housed in a central location, where they receive targeted instruction and have access to various technologies. The space also allows for more support from volunteers who work with the Agency. “We are excited to not only have more space for our students and staff to be flexible and creative, but also a dedicated space that can be used in various ways for the program and the entire Agency,” said Robert Cashel, FCA’s President & CEO.

ASPIRE’s high school component will continue to utilize space at NCC where students receive academic support and guidance which will enable them to graduate high school and be college or career ready.
