For close to 85 years, Family & Children’s Agency (FCA) has been a trusted resource for individuals and families throughout Fairfield County. Today, with more than 30 programs serving people across the lifespan, FCA continues to respond to changing community needs while remaining committed to its mission of building better lives.

As we look toward the future, we are proud to announce the FCA Legacy Society, a new giving society recognizing individuals who have chosen to include FCA in their estate plans through a bequest or beneficiary designation.

Members of the FCA Legacy Society are making a lasting commitment to FCA’s mission and helping ensure that future generations will have access to the support, opportunities, and resources they need. Planned gifts can take many forms and may offer donors a meaningful way to support FCA while also aligning with their personal and financial goals.

The Legacy Society is being launched with the leadership of its founding members and co-chairs, longtime FCA supporters who describe the Agency as having become “like a family” to them. Their commitment reflects a shared belief that the services FCA has provided for nearly 85 years should remain available for generations to come.

Joining the FCA Legacy Society does not require a gift today. By simply informing FCA that you have included the Agency in your will, trust, retirement plan, life insurance policy, or other estate plans, you can become part of this special group of supporters.

Make a Bequest

Leave a gift of cash, securities or other assets, such as real property, by making a bequest in your will or trust. This allows you to make a generous gift that will not compromise your lifestyle. 

Name Family & Children’s Agency as a Beneficiary

One of the easiest ways to make a planned gift is to name Family & Children’s Agency (FCA) as a beneficiary of your life insurance, IRA, Donor Advised Fund, or other retirement plan. You can allocate a specific percentage or a set amount to FCA.

Establish a Charitable Lead or Charitable Remainder Trust

Create a charitable trust, naming Family & Children’s Agency as a beneficiary during your life (Lead) or in the future (Remainder). Charitable trusts can provide tax advantages for capital gains, gift, and estate taxes.
