From committee membership to fruit donor, Kristi Ng has experienced a wide breadth of volunteer opportunities at FCA. Brought into the agency through friend Sherlene Rodriguez, Kristi said it was natural that she and her husband would end up more involved.
“We live here, we are part of the community, and we want to give back,” she said.
When Kristi first joined the Junior Board of Advisors (JBA), a group of young professionals who plan and execute many of FCA’s signature events, the group was in its early stages. This allowed her to help shape the group into the successful team it is today.
As a member of the JBA, Kristi has taken an active role in FCA’s internal planning, external fundraising, and client-facing events. She has been a member of FCA’s Communications Workgroup and the planning committee for the IMAGINE benefit. She has helped make fundraising events successful, including our annual Diaper Drive and Taste of Fairfield County. She has also spent time with clients by serving holiday meals and bringing fruit to our Community Connections homeless day center.
Kristi is now beginning her first term as Chair of the Junior Board of Advisors, and we are so grateful for her continued dedication and support of the Agency!
