Homemakers and Companions
Family & Children’s Agency’s Homemakers and Companions are ideal for families who need extra help with the activities of daily living. This program is supported in part by Southwestern Connecticut Agency on Aging (SWCAA). We provide:
- General cleaning including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, laundry, trash removal, linen changes, and bathroom and kitchen cleaning
- Grocery and small errand shopping
- Accompaniment of independently mobile clients on daily walks
- Medication reminders
- Meal planning, preparation, and serving
- Appointment accompaniment
- Assist with hygiene routines
