Family & Children’s Agency offers a wide range of therapeutic and preventive counseling through its Behavioral Health Department. Counseling has been at the core of our services since our inception in 1942.

Our licensed clinical staff has many years of experience in helping adults through times of crisis or transition. To provide comprehensive care, we collaborate with other agencies in the community and make referrals when necessary.

How can counseling help?

We can work with you on difficulties that you are experiencing, including:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Anger Management
  • Grief and Loss
  • Marital and Family Problems
  • Substance Abuse
  • Parenting Skills
  • Life Transitions, such as Divorce or Relocation

Our therapists work in a variety of treatment modalities: individual, family, and group therapy. All records are confidential.

What is the initial process?

A trained professional will answer your initial call and gather information. Afterward, a licensed clinical professional will call you to discuss your request and to  set up an appointment.

What is the fee for Counseling?

Our counseling services are comprehensive and accessible to everyone. Most insurance and HMOs are accepted. A sliding fee scale is also available.
