For more than 20 years, Lifeline Connecticut at FCA has offered personal emergen cy response services to residents of Connecticut and New York. We've helped thousands of people stay safe and independent in their own homes, knowing that whenever they need help, it's only a push-of-a-button away.
How does the Lifeline service work?
  • When you need help, you press your personal help button, activating the Lifeline Home Unit.
  • The unit dials the Lifeline Monitoring Center and establishes two-way voice communication
  • Within seconds, a Lifeline Monitor with complete access to your full profile communicates with you and offers help.
  • The Lifeline Monitor then contacts a neighbor, loved one or emergency services to come to your assistance based on your specific needs.
  • The Lifeline Monitor then follows up to ensure that help did arrive.
Lifeline Connecticut at FCA is part of a non-profit agency offering families early intervention and reassurance. Lifeline is installed, demonstrated, and serviced by trained case managers. Lifeline compliments other Home Care Plus services offered by FCA, and fee assistance is available to those who quality.
