Family & Children’s Agency offers a variety programs serving individuals and families of all ages. To help you choose the “just right” volunteer position, we have organized our opportunities to help you choose an experience that matches your interests.
CHILDREN AND FAMILIES
- Offer phone support to new mothers to prevent abuse or neglect (Currently Filled)
- Help with childcare at our Family Support parenting workshops
(Currently Filled) - Provide office support to staff in our Family Support programs
(Currently Filled)
YOUTH
- Be a mentor to a child with Project Friendship
- Volunteer with middle school students at the After School Program
(Accepting applications for the 2012-2013 academic year.) - Sponsor an activity or party for a youth program
- Be a snack shopper for the After School Program
(Currently Filled)
ADULTS
- Provide Sunday lunch for 40+ clients experiencing homelessness
SENIOR ADULTS
- Provide office support to staff in our Home Care Services
ALL PROGRAMS
- Make baked goods or provide snacks for clients
- Facilitate a workshop or be a guest speaker
- Organize a collection at your school, church, or place of employment
- Be creative or use a talent to make gifts for clients
- Join a fundraising or special events committee
