I am pleased to announce that our spring Benefit, IMAGINE 2013: A Night in Italy, will be held on Saturday, May 4 at Woodway Country Club in Darien, CT. As you may know, the event is our largest annual fundraising
initiative; we host 200+ individuals from Fairfield County and surrounding communities for a compelling and memorable evening. Since 1942, Family & Children’s Agency has been helping individuals in our community to realize life’s possibilities. As a leading nonprofit human service organization, we are committed to increasing the social and emotional well-being of our 10,000+ clients annually and we provide strength-based, solution focused services that respond to the individual needs of children & families, youth, adults, and seniors.

As we plan IMAGINE 2013: A Night in Italy we realize that your support is more critical than ever. In October, of 2012, our primary service location, 149 Water Street in Norwalk, which supported Specialized Foster Care, Family Support Intervention, and Homeless Services, including the Community Connections Center, was left uninhabitable by Superstorm Sandy. Despite the losses, our services to clients have been maintained due to our staff’s strong commitment to service and to our strong partnerships and support from the Greater Norwalk community. Through the generous support of others we have been able to rebuild, as well as achieve many successes over the past calendar year with the children & families, youth, adults, and seniors we serve. I invite you to join us in reflection upon those successes, illustrated on the attached. These examples illuminate how together, with special friends and supporters like you, we can transform lives and communities.

If you are unable to partner with us as a sponsor, please consider supporting us by donating an item to our auction, placing an advertisement in the Benefit Program, or making a cash donation. Information on each of these opportunities is included in this packet, please fill out the corresponding form and return to our Development department. All proceeds from the Benefit will serve our community and support the work of Family & Children’s Agency. 89 cents of each dollar donated goes directly toward helping our clients.
