Volunteer
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Family & Children’s Agency! FCA’s Volunteer Services works with over 800 volunteers from the community who use their talents and skills in a variety of FCA programs and activities. We work with both individuals and groups, and offer ongoing opportunities and also short-term projects.

FCA's Individual Volunteer Opportunities
FCA provides many ways for individuals to get involved, such as becoming a mentor to a “Little Friend,” tutoring a student in our After School Program, or clerical assistance for a program. Some volunteer positions require a weekly commitment and an application process (including an application, background checks and office orientation). Download the current list of individual volunteer opportunities.

FCA's Group Volunteer Opportunities
FCA offers many ways for corporations and groups to get involved, such as sponsoring a party for a program, organizing a clean up, or sponsoring an activity for a group of clients. These types of volunteer projects are a great way to promote team building and meet interesting people and learn new skills.   These events require 5-20 volunteers, depending upon the activity.

Other Ways to Get Involved
FCA also provides opportunities to volunteer for those who cannot make a regular commitment to a program or for youth looking for community service hours.  These opportunities include collections, drives and making items for FCA clients. Download the current list of other ways to get involved.
