Addiction Services for Women
Project REWARD (Rehabilitation Effort for Women Actively Resisting Drugs) is the only program in southern Fairfield County providing intensive outpatient programs and outpatient services for women (including pregnant or parenting women). The program is located in South Norwalk and provides transportation for participants and their children to and from the program.

Project REWARD offers childcare and assessment for participants' infant and preschool-aged children in The Rainbow Room. A Child Development Specialist works with both mothers and children.

To allow for individualized treatment plans, Project REWARD incorporates a flexible treatment schedule with three different levels of care: Early intervention and outreach for clients who new to addiction treatment and are struggling with their motivation to change, Intensive Out-Patient (IOP) to help women establish and maintain abstinence, and Out-Patient Services to help clients who are stable in their recovery.
