"Lifeline has helped me so much. I tried to walk from my car to my house and I could not make it. I'm so glad I had my Lifeline - a beautiful thing to use for anybody." Mrs. F., Westport, CT

For more than 20 years, Lifeline Connecticut at FCA has offered personal emergency response services to residents of Connecticut and New York. We've helped thousands of people stay safe and independent in their own homes, knowing that whenever they need help, it's only a push-of-a-button away.

How does the Lifeline service work?
  •  When you need help, you press your personal help button, activating the Lifeline Home Unit.
  •  The unit dials the Lifeline Monitoring Center and establishes two-way voice communication
  •  Within seconds, a Lifeline Monitor with complete access to your full profile communicates with you and offers help.
  •  The Lifeline Monitor then contacts a neighbor, loved one or emergency services to come to your assistance based on your specific needs.
  •  The Lifeline Monitor then follows up to ensure that help did arrive.
Lifeline Connecticut at FCA, part of a non-profit agency, offers families early intervention and reassurance, a local staff of human service professionals, cost-effective complement to other HomeCare Plus services, and fee assistance to those who qualify.
Lifeline Connecticut at FCA is partially funded by area United Ways and by the Southwestern Connecticut Agency on Aging, Inc.
