Join us for an uplifting evening of comedy, Alison reading from her upcoming book, "The English American," and adoption Q&A.
Alison Larkin was adopted at birth in Washington, D.C., by British parents and raised in England and Africa. After graduation from the University of London and the Webber-Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, she became a regular on the British stage, appeared on Broadway, and became a ubiquitous voice-over artist and a successful stand-up comic. “Health & Development Issues in Adopted Children;” 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at The Adoption Center at FCA in Norwalk, CT. Our presenter, Dr. Jane Aronson, is a world renowned international adoption specialist and the founder and Executive Director of the Worldwide Orphans Foundation. Dr. Aronson will provide information on her latest findings regarding developmental, medical, social, and emotional issues in children who are adopted internationally. The cost of the event is $20 per person, payable to “Worldwide Orphans Foundation”. This is a tax deductible donation in lieu of a registration fee.
